1. Wizard's Chess pieces cannot talk or move by themselves.

2. The rules for Wizard's Chess are the same as the muggle version.

4. Checkers is also called Draughts.

Essay:

As far as I know, there is no official chess club at Hogwarts. Option 1: Write a letter to the board of directors persuading them to add an official chess club. Option 2: Do you think that a chess club should or should or should not be in existence at Hogwarts? Take a stance and defend it. Minimum of 100 words.

Preferences:

(15 points)

Many people dislike chess because of the immense amount of rules and focus it requires. Do you enjoy chess or not? If you have played before, how'd you learn and who first taught you? (You can also complete this for checkers instead) Minimum 100 words.

Gobstones:

(15 points)

Gobstones has putrid liquid that gets sprayed at you. This deters many people from playing so you're tasked with the job of finding something else that sprays at you instead. What new liquid is going to be sprayed? Or rather, should anything be sprayed or should there be another reaction? The choice is yours. Minimum 100 words.

Game:

(30 points)

Play a game of chess here and send me the list of moves that were taken, who won, and a screenshot of your finished game.

Historical Figures and Chess:

(30 points)

Do some research on a historical figure and tell me why you think they would have been really good at chess. Give me plenty of details about the person and plenty of reasons why they would have enjoyed chess. If there is historical proof that they did play chess, you can, of course, include that. Minimum 200 words.
